The highlight of Ueno Farm is its garden that was gradually cultivated by a rice-farming family. It is about 6,600 square meters, and although it is based on a British-style garden, it has also been cultivated with Hokkaido’s unique natural features to produce an original Hokkaido garden. With scenery that changes according to the season, the garden truly is a wonderland.
A special space created for garden-lovers
The Garden Shop house sells seeds for close to 400 plant varieties year-round, including rare perennial plants and herbs that are difficult to find anywhere else. Accessories and other miscellaneous goods are also on sale.
At NAYA Café, which leverages the atmosphere of a small barn, you can enjoy meals, drinks, and sweets made with ingredients from Hokkaido.
